Key takeaways from The Things Conference and PHEX South Event
This fall has been both interesting and rewarding, participating in both The Things Conference in Amsterdam and PHEX South Event at London Olympia. We enjoyed meeting our partners, gaining insights into the latest industry trends, engaging with our target audience and exploring how we can help them overcome their challenges.
Here are some key insights from the events:
PHEX South Event
PHEX South Event is an HVAC trade show that highlights innovations and challenges for plumbers and other industry professionals. It’s a meeting place for wholesalers, distributors, plumbers and manufacturers to share experiences. Despite the smaller size of the event, we gained a lot of valuable insights from the industry and received a lot of positive feedback from plumbers when showcasing our water shut off valve, CubicSecure!
Here is what the plumbers had to say about CubicSecure:
Seems to be a reliable solution for their customers: CubicSecure can measure water consumption, detect water leaks and can prevent major water damage. A safe solution for their customers and also a solution which would generate more business for the plumbers.
The smallest water shut off valve on the market: At just 110 mm, CubicSecure is easy for the plumbers to install.
Reliable connectivity: Unlike other products on the market, which struggle with network connectivity, plumbers found CubicSecure easy to connect and appreciated its simple and intuitive platform. This is a significant advantage, especially in the UK market, where plumbers can be held financially responsible if the products they install do not work correctly.
Ultrasound technology: The plumbers appreciated the unique ultrasound technology used to measure water flow. Since other water shut off valves often have more moving parts that break down faster, CubicSecure offers a more durable solution.
Sleek design: Many commented on how much they liked the design of the product (and we agree – it looks amazing!)
The Things Conference
The Things Conference is a specialized event for those who love IoT and, more specifically, LoRaWAN technology. It provided us with the opportunity to connect with several of our partners, get inspired by new innovations and have interesting meetings with potential partners.
The conference focused heavily on solutions for energy monitoring and savings, and our products generated significant interest.
Ramtin Massoumzadeh, our founder and CEO, gave a well-received presentation about CubicMeter, highlighting how the product enables a completely new and efficient way to measure water usage and detect leaks. It was very well appreciated!
CubicMeter was recognized especially because of these benefits:
Easy installation: Property managers can measure water consumption without needing to hire a plumber for installation, which can help reduce water usage and improve ESG scores.
Greater potential for water savings and billing: Accurate measurements allow for both water conservation and correct billing.
Reduces energy usage: More and more companies and organizations are seeking solutions to reduce energy consumption in buildings and cities, and water conservation plays a key role in this.
Quick ROI: Our products provide quick feedback on investments through immediate statistics on water usage, which also helps to prevent major water damage in case of leaks.
A complete solution provider: Many customers are looking for an end-to-end solution with hardware, platform and service. This is something our partners can deliver which significantly reduces overall costs.
Easy integration: There is a strong need for solutions that can be easily integrated with other systems, and CubicMeter works smoothly with existing platforms.
In summary, both events were great to attend, and we were thrilled to receive such positive feedback from several markets! We also gained valuable insights into what the market needs right now and how we can meet our customers' requirements.
We look forward to what the future holds. See you at the next trade show!
