With the summer still in full bloom, many might be thinking about how to encourage more eco-friendly behavior in regards to water. French company EcoludiK have found a solution that both reduces water consumption and increases water awareness by using Quandify’s clamp-on water flow meter, CubicMeter.

More water is consumed during vacation

While the average French person consumes 150 liters of water per day, a 2019 government study estimates water consumption on vacation at 230 liters per day per person, or even up to 300 liters according to other studies.

To address this issue, EcoludiK has developed an innovative solution that allows real-time monitoring of water and electricity consumption, presented in a fun and engaging way.

Monitor water in real time

By integrating the Quandify CubicMeter water flow meter and leakage sensor into their connected screens, EcoludiK has found a way to create awareness in each individual mobile home.

In a pilot case, EcoludiK installed CubicMeters under each hut of a campsite in Argelès-sur-Mer (France). The results have been very positive for both guests and facility managers.
