Yesterday, Quandify’s CEO Ramtin Massoumzadeh was joined on stage by Pelle Mattisson, board member and CEO of Latour Future Solutions. At the first BUILD event by Impact Loop, Ramtin presented the case of the CubicMeter, the company’s first ever commercial product. He was later joined by board member Pelle and they were interviewed by Impact Loops Camilla Bergman on why Latour chose to invest in Quandify, the company’s potential and solutions.

In the case of the CubicMeter, Ramtin among other things explained the challenge of bringing a completely new product to market: “We had to create a new category, which was challenging but also very rewarding. The concept of a clamp-on water meter is still new because the industry is so used to invasive solutions.” It was also food for thought to hear water being compared to electricity. When is comes down to it, in the case of survival, which one would you choose?
